Hello, I am renting out a room (approx. 17 m²) in a three-room apartment at Täljstensvägen 9A, Eriksberg, in Uppsala (Bedroom 1 according to the floor plan/image). You will share the kitchen and toilet/shower with me and one other tenant (a 24-year-old Italian woman studying a master’s degree at Uppsala University). Bedroom 1: 3,800 SEK per month (approx. 17 m²) You can move in from June 6, 2024, as the previous tenant is moving out around that time with some flexibility. You can see the floor plan among the images, and I live in the living room. You should be tidy and have good hygiene. You are expected to clean and wash up after yourself and to respect the other tenant. The apartment is on the first floor and has a balcony (about 3 meters above ground, so no one can access it via windows or the balcony) with a sunny exposure. Your room (Bedroom 1 on the floor plan/image, approx. 17 m²) faces south and gets sunlight. The kitchen faces north. Everything was painted white with ecological paint last summer, giving the apartment a bright and fresh feel. Täljstenen is a quiet and pleasant area with easy cycling distance to the city center and very close to BMC and the hospital, which are just on the other side of Stadsskogen. The bus stop is about 30 meters away, with direct transport to the city center. You also have immediate access to Hågadalen and the surrounding nature. I will live in the third room, which is the living room. My name is Marcus, I am 37 years old, originally from Härnösand. I am trained as a biotechnician and currently work in that field in Uppsala. I have both been a tenant myself and rented out rooms in my current apartment before. I therefore understand the importance of privacy when renting a room. I will respect your space and privacy very much. I am also very tidy and value good hygiene. The room is furnished with a bed, desk, chair, and shelves/cabinets from the previous tenant. These can of course be moved if you want to use your own furniture. Previous tenants have been female students who are now moving to another city for studies. All utilities are included in the rent: electricity, water, internet, and shared consumables (kitchen, bathroom, and cleaning supplies). Personal items are not included. If you want your own home insurance, you will need to arrange that yourself. We will sign a rental agreement, and the notice period is two months (unless we agree otherwise). One month’s rent is taken as a deposit upon moving in (meaning double rent the first month). This will be returned upon moving out or used as the last month’s rent. I would prefer someone who wants to share the apartment for a longer period but I am open to other arrangements.
